Some of you may have already seen that we've had some new additions in the office recently. So we thought it was only fair to let the newbies introduce themselves and let you know what they've been up to.
We're sure you'll get to know them very well in the coming weeks and months, but for now, let's get them straight into it.
Well it’s been a busy two weeks! Two weeks that have absolutely flown by. Let me see if I can get some thoughts down for you.
The chance to join the team here at Aquamarine was one I just couldn’t turn down. A small, friendly agency, specialising in my favourite aspect of marketing (content & copywriting), situated on the quay in Exeter – it couldn’t have ticked many more boxes!
It’s a busy time here at Aquamarine, and that’s been great for me settling in. I’ve been able to get stuck straight in, getting to know our clients and our own brand as well. I’ve spent a lot of time managing social media channels and putting together engaging content – as well as thinking more strategically about the direction our clients want to take.
The coming weeks will see me getting more involved in our own marketing, as well as stepping up my involvement with our clients. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all our clients – so please do say hi if you ever visit!
My name is Vicky and I have recently joined Aquamarine as a PPC Account Executive.
Last September I graduated with a First-Class Degree in Digital Marketing, which taught me all aspects from Brand Management to Managing Online Communities. After some work experience, I knew this was the career I wanted to pursue.
My first two weeks at Aquamarine have been full of training sessions within both Google Analytics and Adwords, resulting in the passing of my Google Fundamentals Assessment! I’ve learnt about the range of clients Aquamarine work alongside and have also been given the chance to get hands-on organising and improving Ad Groups for clients. I’ve also already attended three networking events (with bubbly!) where I enjoyed getting talking to people about the local business scene.
Within the next two weeks I will continue my training and become Google Certified as well as managing our charity pages.
Overall, I’m very excited to continue my learning in all things PPC and am very privileged to be trained by industry professionals that have fantastic knowledge and experience to share!
My name is Mathilda and I’m Aquamarine’s new intern, all the way from Sweden. I’m here to do my three month internship at Aquamarine, and I’m pretty excited about it! I’ve just finished my first week here, which was so much fun. I’ve been focusing on PPC, and I’m on my way to becoming certified in Google Ad Words. It’s a whole new world for me but I’m enjoying every bit. Everyone is really nice, and I like the environment over here – both in the office and in beautiful Exeter.
As I mentioned I’m from Sweden, just outside of Gothenburg. Over there I’m studying at the Sales and Marketing School. I’ve never worked within marketing before, so I’m preparing to be filled with new great knowledge when I head back! My background is predominantly within sales, so this is a new road to explore, combining both sales and marketing. The following weeks I’ll be focusing on PPC and really wrapping my head around it. We’re also taking new photos for the website and I’ll be a proud addition to the website, even if it’s just for the following three months. I’m really looking forward to what’s next to come!
